We were supported by Martin Hacker

In terms of the sixth stage we received unexpected support. Bronze Olympic medallist and World Champion Marcel Hacker helped us reach 62 km long stage.

Marcel Hacker, a native of Magdeburg and a German rowing champion who won the bronze Olympic medal in Sydney in 2000, and two years later became World Champion in Seville, supported the Prague Hamburg Rowing Race.  At the Rio de Janeiro Summer Olympics in 2016, he started a double skiff with Stephan Krüger, but unfortunately they did not make to the final. Now he makes good use of his experience as a coach.

Thank you Olaf Wiedfeldt for such a nice welcome to the city of Magdeburg and RC Alt-Werder Magdeburg 1887 e.V.

We are really honoured and thank you for your support!
